   Hello, my dear readers. Today I want to inform you about an incredible tool; Flipgrid. This tool is basically a video sharing platform. Teacher posts a video and students records their response to the teacher. The topic of the video depends on teacher’s preferences. For instance, teacher can ask something or something to do related to lesson, from their students and the students send their answer to teacher. In this way, they can interact with each other with video. Also, this supports the one-to-one interaction. The teacher can comment on the videos and give feedback to students. Every video is called ‘grid’. So, the grids may be used to grade the students.   A teacher should be creative and innovator at the same time.   LMS (learning management system) is a part of online education which provides classroom learning such as, activities, etc. Mostly in these days, because of the pandemic, these kinds of systems help us to keep up with education without going to school. There are two tools that I want to introduce you today. -Blackboard   We can say that Blackboard is actually an online classroom. It is a part of LMS. Voicethread comes to help! You may ask, what is Voicethread? How to use?   Voicethread is basically a virtual presentation tool. Firstly, you need to register to website and then, you see the homepage. In the homepage, you can create a new presentation. There is an option to upload your pre-prepared files. After uploading the files there is an option to record your voice or video. If you uploaded a slide, then you need to record voice/video for each page. They let you create your own videos with uploading pictures, videos, clips, etc. So, the aim of the Animoto is easy, you can produce videos from your gallery and there are many options to edit it. Also, it is very beneficial to use it for class. Teachers can use it for assignments and lessons. And of course, students can benefit from the website!    Today I’m going to introduce you an incredible application! If you love stories and you love to create one, then this website is the best for you. On the website you can create your own story for your students. Especially for kids, you can use Storybird to reinforce their knowledge. There are many drawings that you can use while creating the story and you write every detail! Also, the students can benefit from the website, too. They can use it for some creative assignments or presentations!   I highly recommend!   Here is a story by me. I my opinion, being a teacher does not mean I only have to study my lesson. I also teach them being human. Teachers are becoming the third parent of the students. This is why I wanted to create a story about animal love!  

  Today I’m going to introduce you a game-based learning platform; Kahoot! This is one of the fun applications for the classroom activities. The app requests interaction and participation of the students. How to use Kahoot?   First thing the teacher need to do is creating a quiz before the lesson. It can be about any subject, it’s on teacher’s preferences. For example, teacher can create a quiz about the last lesson’s subject and the questions have some important details to examine students’ knowledge. There are four answers for each question. The questions are reflecting on the board and of course the answers are, too. Students connect the quiz with their special codes and the teacher starts the quiz. Students answer the questions after reading the question and answers on the board and they mark the correct one on their phones.   Hello, my dear readers! Today I’m going to talk about a tool where you can create your own avatar. The name of the tool is: Voki. The tool provides us to present our work in a fun way. In this technological era, students love these kinds of alternatives for the lessons.   To use Voki, you need to download the app. Yes, you can download it on your phones or tablets. But still, you have an option to use it on your PCs or laptops too! After the downloading process, you can open the app. There is a random avatar at first. You need to customize your own appearance, such as changing your skin color or changing your hair style, etc. After creating the avatar, you have an option to record your voice and avatar mimics your mouth while talking.
