21st Century Skills
These skills include twelve abilities, and
they are for achieving to success in education life. Every one of the skills
are unique on their own but they share the same aim. They are all suitable for and
can applied to all educational areas. There are three types of 21st
century skills:
1) 1) Learning
Skills
-Most popular skill,
-Universal,
-Changeable,
-Also known as the four C’s,
-Has four under titles;

Critical thinking,
·
Creativity,
·
Collaboration,
·
Communication.
2) 2) Literacy
Skills
-Also called as IMT,
-Digital comprehension,
-Has three under titles;
·
Information,
·
Media,
·
Technology.
3) 3) Life
Skills
-Also called as FLIPS,
-Belongs to personal life,
-Has five under titles;
·
Flexibility,
·
Leadership,
·
Initiative,
·
Productivity,
·
Social skills.
-Communication Skill
Communication is a need for every creature
to transmit messages. So, it is also important for the students to learn more
effectively. It is possible with developing communication skills and
transmitting messages from one another. Besides their education life, this
skill helps the students in their business life. Good communication can open
any door to students. So, this skill is very significant for the students.
Without this skill, this would be a shame in 21st century. Poor
communication might cause a lot of problems in life. Because of that reason, a
teacher should provide a communicational atmosphere in the classroom. In this
way, students can improve their skill while interacting with their peers. Beside
the good talking ability, students gain effective listening skills which is a
big part of communication.
