Basically, the website is an online flashcard app. The best aspect of Quizlet is that there are so many options to use for free! You can use the pre-prepared studying sets or create your own sets. It is possible to make learning permanent with the cards and the games on the sets. Also, the app gives so many language options! That means, nothing to worry about if you are a beginner to learn language.

Why should I use Quizlet?

 If you are a teacher then you can review your students’ progress and have more knowledge about their level of learning. For students, there are so many reasons to use it. First, it is easy. The website has a good design, but this is not all! You do not have to carry your laptop to use. There is also app on your phones or tablets. So, accessibility to Quizlet is not that hard. If you think memorizing is too hard for you by reading, then you should use Quizlet. The website gives you so many options to learn words:

1. Flashcards: Help you to memorize terms and definitions. It is useful and quick.

2. Learn: This option gives you a personalized study mode opportunity based on your success on study sets.

3. Write: This is a fill in the blank study tool.

4. Spell: Another study mode with typing but in this one you must spell the word in the correct way.

 5. Test: This is an easy way to quiz yourself. So, you can see how well you are doing on your set.

6. Match: In this game you can match the definitions and the words to see if you learn it or not.

7. Gravity: This game is about answering questions correct or you will hit by an asteroid!

How to use Quizlet?

 In my experience, I found Quizlet easy to use. At first you need to sign up on their site which is www.quizlet.com. After this process you can join sets and if your teacher sent you a link before then you can use it to join your teacher’s sets. If you already joined one, then you can see your set on the home page. After clicking it, set will open, and you can start your learning process. But if you are a teacher, firstly you need to create your class. As for the app, it is as easy as the website. You should first download it on your device and then sign up. Now, you are ready to use!

To sum up!

 I highly recommend this website to use at class because students like to use different kind of tools and in this technology age, being a teacher that following technology is important.     I’m here with something new today! I want to introduce you a virtual reality game Second Life! But first, I should start with explaining what virtual world is. The definition in *Techopedia says “A virtual world is a computer-based online community environment that is designed and shared by individuals so that they can interact in a custom-built, simulated world.” So, as you can see, Second Life is also a virtual world! How does it work?     Firstly, you need to download the app. After the set-up process, you can go into the virtual world of Second Life. First thing you need to do is registering the app. Then, there is a section that you create and design your own avatar! You can create your avatar as a vampire, monster, etc. So, there are many options! After choosing your avatar, you can customize your appearance.
