Voicethread

   Do you want to make an online presentation? But are there some internet connection problems? And do you want to see a presentation uninterrupted? This is the right place. Voicethread comes to help!

You may ask, what is Voicethread? How to use?

  Voicethread is basically a virtual presentation tool. Firstly, you need to register to website and then, you see the homepage. In the homepage, you can create a new presentation. There is an option to upload your pre-prepared files. After uploading the files there is an option to record your voice or video. If you uploaded a slide, then you need to record voice/video for each page. If you did not like the recorded voice/video, you can delete and record it again! I used the website for my two presentation assignments and I highly recommend it. The website is very easy to understand. After finishing your task, you can share the link with your teacher, students or whoever you want. And of course, there is privacy! Only the people with link can see the video if you want. This is a great feature for me!

    I’m here with something new today! I want to introduce you a virtual reality game Second Life! But first, I should start with explaining what virtual world is. The definition in *Techopedia says “A virtual world is a computer-based online community environment that is designed and shared by individuals so that they can interact in a custom-built, simulated world.” So, as you can see, Second Life is also a virtual world! How does it work?     Firstly, you need to download the app. After the set-up process, you can go into the virtual world of Second Life. First thing you need to do is registering the app. Then, there is a section that you create and design your own avatar! You can create your avatar as a vampire, monster, etc. So, there are many options! After choosing your avatar, you can customize your appearance.
